Electrical connectivity of photovoltaic plants with 5000kW individual power

Work has begun on the complete construction of a power line connection from the Pavlikeni 110/20kV substation to photovoltaic power plants on the territory of the Suhindol municipality.

There are two solar parks, with individual capacities of 5000kW each.

The power supply system includes:

• Delivery and installation of 2 pcs. Modular Complete Distribution Devices (MKRU) - 20kV , intended for:

  • Acceptance and metering of electricity;

  • Protection and switching of power lines and connected equipment;

• Two cable connections from Pavlikeni substation 110/20kV to MKRU-20kV;

• Two cable power lines to connect each of the solar parks with the corresponding MKRU-20kV.

For the cable lines, a cable with a section of 1x240mm² and a total length of 85000m is used.

The activities for the preliminary preparation of the route are in the process of completion.

Along with this, cable line pulling and laying activities have started in the prepared sections.
