Moving power substations with power 3600 KVA out of production building

At the initiative of the management of the plant for sanitary fittings of "Ideal Standard visible" AD, an analysis of the risk of ignition and fires has been carried out with a source of power electrical equipment on the territory of a production site - city. Sevlievo.

It has been established, that the greatest is the risk of power transformers, the dostep to which it is limited and is carried out through the interior spaces.

The same time of their commissioning, were in charge and complying with the then standards in force.

However, they are currently creating a risk, limited.

This is due to the circumstance, that at any of them, The substation is located in production workshops and the access to them is only carried out through all the closed rooms and spaces.

This impedes access to inspection, emergency-repair and fire-fighting activities.

On the basis of the facts found, The decision was made to reconstruct the intra-centers in accordance with the current higher applications for fire safety and the repair.

For this purpose on the part of "Delta Star" AD was presented a conceptual project, which, after approval by the contracting authority, is developed in technical and it includes the following activities:

-Refund of existing substation outside the production shop and installation of a new power transformer 2000kva;

-Construction of a new main distribution panel low voltage 0.4kv;

-Construction of a new cable connection between exported power transformers and mainly low voltage distribution panel 0.4kv;

-Delivery and installation of a new compact substation for 20/0.4kv - 2h1600kva;

-Removal 2 pcs. existing power transformers and secure of intra -centers in which they are located at the moment;

-Dismantling an existing low voltage of 0.4kv and its replacement with a new.

The main facilities under this project are currently installed.

Depending on the contracting authority's production program, Their gradual commissioning and power supply of consumers is forthcoming without disturbing the production schedule.
